About U. S. Dry Bean Council (USDBC)
The U. S. Dry Bean Council (USDBC) is made up of leaders in the bean industry with the common goal of educating U.S. consumers about the benefits of beans. Through the Bean Education & Awareness Network (B.E.A.N.), the USDBC gives a voice to the bean industry and provides information to consumers and media about the good taste, nutritional value and versatility of beans. In March, 2006, The American Dry Bean Board merged with another industry organization to form the U.S. Dry Bean Council.
USDBC Membership
The USDBC is successful because of the commitment and support of its members, which include bean growers, processors and canners. Members of the USDBC are part of an influential and involved group at the forefront of the bean industry, and help develop programs that shape people’s perceptions about beans and ultimately increase bean consumption.
